Our first guest is the artist Hasmik Soghomonyan.
Hasmik Soghomonyan graduated from the Yerevan Academy of Arts with a degree in Decorative and Applied Arts and received an artist’s degree- From 2004 to 2006, she taught modeling and design at the Dilijan branch of EGPA. In 2002, she held a solo exhibition in Dilijan. She participated in a number of other exhibitions.
Hasmik is one of the co-founders of the brand “Armenia On Silk” and the souvenir salon “garnet” in Dilijan. Since 2010, he has been conducting master classes in needlework in various styles. In 2019, she founded the original metal jewelry brand “Helga Jewelry”. In 2020, Jasmine, along with her husband Michael, founded the handmade leather goods brand “Mi Kashi”.
Since 2017, he has been teaching at Dilijan Central School as a teacher of art and technology subjects. In 2018-2019, she conducted master classes on the “Made” decorative and applied arts platform in Dilijan. Hasmik Soghomonyan is currently the Head of the Arts and Crafts Platform program at the Dilijan Community Center.
The war left a deep mark on Jasmine’s life, which influenced her creative path. He is ready to share his story during the meeting.
